Chrome Capital, a Naples, FL.-based leasing company, and Brighton Harley-Davidson of Brighton, MI, ABC Harley-Davidson of Waterford Township, MI, Biker Bob’s Harley-Davidson of Taylor, MI and Capitol Harley-Davidson of Dimondale, MI have executed dealer agreements with Chrome Capital LLC to offer the “TestRide” to Michigan Harley riders.
Chrome’s TestRide is an authentic vehicle lease designed exclusively for Harley-Davidsons. Lease terms are two or three years with no mileage restrictions, and no further obligation. When the TestRide period comes to an end, the customer can renew the lease, purchase the bike or simply return the bike to the dealer. The customer has options, not obligations.
“We submitted 40 applications in the first weekend. The Chrome Calculator delivers model and year specific lease quotes instantly, allowing our sales managers to close more deals. Everyone who walks in the door is offered the TestRide”, says Dan “Gus” Gusoff, Brighton Harley-Davidson, General Manager.
“Our customers really appreciate the lower cost to ride that the TestRide delivers,” says Trey Hahn Biker Bob’s Harley-Davidson Sales Manager. Jake Probe, Brighton’s Sales Manager, states “TestRide is fast, simple, with no mileage restrictions. I submit applications for Tier 1’s to Tier None’s.’
Gary Krupa, General Manager for ABC Harley-Davidson, is an advocate of using the TestRide to get new riders on a bike, ”We are in a challenging marketplace in MI. This is a new tool we can use to get a MI rider to get on a bike at good rate, with no to low down– it complements our goals.”
Steve Elliott, General Manager for Capitol Harley-Davidson is the newest MI dealer to sign on with Chrome. “We have high hopes for the success of the TestRide program attracting our incremental riders – those that would not, or could not, otherwise get on a Harley.”
Chrome Capital’s dealer relationships stretch coast to coast from New Hampshire to Florida and as far west as Washington State. The company aims to sign on the top U.S. 200 Harley-Davidson dealerships by the end of 2012. Chrome Capital is led by a seasoned management team including Peter E. Wasmer, CEO; Stephen J Swain, CFO; and Brian Cramer, vice president of Dealer Development and Marketing.
