Gibson Wins Best Powersports Product Award at SEMA

The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) announced the winners of the 2016 New Products Showcase Awards yesterday morning at the 2015 SEMA Show. This award is given to the most innovative and cutting-edge aftermarket products that will be consumable in 2016.

Gibson-new-product-awardNearly 3,000 products were entered into 16 different Showcase categories to be considered for the SEMA New Product Awards this year. Winners were selected based on a variety of factors that included quality, marketability, innovation, technology, consumer appeal, and more. 

The 2016 New Product Award Winner in the Powersports category and runners up were as follows:

  • Winner: Gibson Performance Exhaust – 2016 Yamaha Yxz1000R Twin Rear Dual Exhaust
  • Runner Up: Nitrous Express Inc. – Nitrous Plate System for 800cc Polaris RZR
  • Runner Up: US Speedo – SXS Gear Lift
