Join Forest Lawn Museum on Sunday, November 9 starting at 1:00pm for a unique afternoon with Motorcycle Hall of Famer, Dave Ekins as the museum debuts the commemorative edition of the iconic 1956 book: How To Ride and Win.

For this extraordinary celebration Forest Lawn is excited to present a panel discussion, Q&A, and book signings with Dave and other motorcycle legends — Sue Fish, Don Emde, Gunnar Lindstrom, John Hately, Eddie Mulder, John Parker, and Mike Parti. Don’t miss this freewheeling conversation and epic stories about Southern California’s rich history of motorcycle racing, its culture and artistry.

This event complements the museum’s current exhibition Vroom: The Art of the Motorcycle, which provides an in-depth look at the dynamic history of motorcycling, featuring some of the most beautiful, historic, rare and collectable vintage motorcycles; one-of-a-kind hand-painted motorcycle helmets, previously worn by world and national racing champions; painted motorcycle gas tanks and fenders; as well as paintings, sculpture and photographs by a dozen of today’s most celebrated motorcycle artists—many of whom are Southern California natives and/or residents. The exhibit is on view through January 5, 2015.
