EXO2 The Heat Inside has partnered with Direct2mfg (D2M) to represent the EXO2 heated clothing brand to powersports dealers in the United States. EXO2 chose to embark on a dealer direct strategy after the 2010 season and says it worked closely and amicably with its former distributor, Parts Unlimited, on the transition.
"We’re thrilled to partner with D2M, which gives us the opportunity to be closer to the customer and offer the personal touch and service on which the EXO2 brand was founded," said Drew Walston, CEO for EXO2 The Heat Inside, LLC. "We see a real opportunity to expand our dealer base in pursuit of our goal to become the heated clothing provider of choice worldwide. We believe a dealer direct position will give EXO2 and our dealers a decisive advantage in the marketplace by creating lower retail pricing, stronger dealer margins and access to more EXO2 products. This move will also promote better communication/education on our current products, future product development and our proprietary FabRocTM Heat Technology."
D2M Partner Josh Whitaker said, "By selling direct, EXO2 will offer some of the best heated apparel margins and retail price points in the U.S. marketplace. With the cold-weather riding season starting, it is the perfect time to stock up on the complete line. We’re very excited to have EXO2 in our product portfolio."
