Dominion Powersports Webinar on Improving Dealership Events

Dominion Powersports Solutions has scheduled a Pulse webinar that will highlight strategies designed to improve the size and scope of dealership events. It will be held Wednesday, May 21 at 11 a.m. PST/2 p.m. EST, and registration is free at https://www4.gotomeeting.com/register/954023911.

The Pulse webinar will feature a panel of industry insiders who will share ways to bolster annual dealership events. Topics will include:

• Information on a contest that awards thousands of dollars in prizes to consumers at no cost to dealers. The contest is run by the Motorcycle Industry Council and is a great way to generate excitement for dealership events.

• Strategies on how to better connect with local groups to drive more community members to dealer events. Leading this discussion will be an experienced events coordinator from Superstition Harley-Davidson.

• Details on an event that has helped a multi-brand metric dealership attract more women riders. This event has helped the Midwest dealership increase its female customer base.

The boards of the Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC), Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF), Specialty Vehicle Institute of America (SVIA), and the Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Association (ROHVA) voted unanimously to appoint Scott Schloegel as acting president and CEO of the associations. Diana Sanchez was appointed acting chief operating officer.

Schloegel and Sanchez, whose appointments are effective immediately, will also continue to serve in their current roles as senior vice president of government relations and vice president of operations respectively. The interim leadership was selected to ensure a seamless transition as the associations’ search committee continues to conduct a comprehensive review of the position of president and CEO, and a subsequent search to replace outgoing President and CEO Erik Pritchard.
