A former Amazon product manager and two seasoned ADP managers are among a team of new hires just announced by Dominion Powersports Solutions as it nears the launch of its business platform, DX1.
The new team members join Dominion Powersports as the technology company prepares to introduce its initial release of DX1.
“Just as DX1 will create a seamless experience for everyone within a dealership, we plan to offer that same experience in working with our team. We are adding the best and brightest to our product and service teams. Using the most innovative technology to improve our products is one important piece of the equation, but having the best talent for design, implementation and support is just as critical,” said Jeff Littlejohn, president of Dominion Powersports Solutions.
David Nesbitt, formerly of Amazon, joins Dominion Powersports as its senior product manager for e-commerce. Nesbitt will oversee the creation of the next generation of dealer e-commerce products for DX1. At Amazon, Nesbitt was responsible for product design of the online retailer’s shopping cart, checkout and personalized recommendations platform. Prior to Amazon, he worked in product development and management roles at Dell, Comcast Communications, Boeing and with other well-known innovators.
Leading the DX1 Technical Support team will be Juli Howarth, who brings more than 20 years of experience in infrastructure development and management experience to Dominion Powersports. Howarth previously worked with IBM and Microsoft, and later served as director of technical support for Cobalt’s Dealer Services/ADP. During her tenure there, she was responsible for technical support services for North America and Canada, with a team of more than 100 representatives and managers.
Leading the DX1’s implementation team will be former ADP manager Michael Anderson, who managed hardware and software upgrades across North America in the car and truck industry before joining Dominion Powersports.
Anderson has led project management teams across several industries, creating process-driven policies and best practices for software delivery teams. Most recently at ADP Dealer Services, he developed expertise in all aspects of dealer operations and how those processes can be successfully executed through a dealer management system.
