The Dainese Group Launches Dainese Settantadue Brand

The brand will feature technical garments inspired by the extensive design legacy of Dainese and made specifically for cult motorcycle fans.

After 24 months of research and design, Dainese reveals the newest brand to join its family: Dainese Settantadue, a contemporary interpretation of iconic motorcycle clothing. The brand will feature technical garments inspired by the extensive design legacy of Dainese and made specifically for cult motorcycle fans.

“Transfer the emotions that you feel when you enter our Archive in Molvena. Dainese Settantadue arises exactly from this idea,” explains CEO Cristiano Silei. “Heritage, beauty and contemporaneity are the three values on which the new brand is based. In perfect harmony with our history and our roots, it reinterprets technical garments to embrace an even larger audience.”

The company’s art director says the brand represents its vision for innovation, research, and passion for design and style. “To create Dainese Settantadue, I spent weeks immersed in our immense archives searching for inspiration from the great stylistic collaborations of the past, from Yohji Yamamoto to Valextra,” illustrates the Art Director Renato Montagner. “The first production will be a selection of aesthetic affirmations that will come to life when they are in the arms of kindred spirits. It will be genuine, progressive and sophisticated and it will not compromise either quality or detail.”

Dainese Settantadue is imbued with exquisite craftsmanship through its advanced processing techniques and cutting-edge composition that guarantee maximum protection and a modern-day elegance.
