Cycle Gear Inc. has announced the opening of its 96th retail store in Laurel, Maryland. Just a short drive from the heart of Washington DC, the new store is located at 14219 Baltimore Avenue, Laurel, MD. The store represents Cycle Gear’s first retail location in the motorcycle-rich DC Metro Area.
To celebrate the new opening, Cycle Gear will host multiple grand opening events, including a “Support the Ride” night on June 1, from 6-9 p.m. Ten percent of all proceeds from that night’s sales will be donated to the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) and their efforts to support motorcyclists’ rights, riding and racing throughout the United States.
Additional events on June 2-3 will feature special deals, on-site vendor representatives and ongoing product giveaways. Throughout the month of July, the new store will feature weekly drawings for gift cards and other prizes. The Laurel store will also host their first “Bike Night” on July 12, and will have events on August 9 and September 13. “Bike Night” events feature exclusive in-store offers, Go-Pro camera giveaways and demos, and opportunities for customers to win $100 Cycle Gear gift cards.
“The new Laurel store represents our ongoing commitment to support America’s motorcyclists,” said Dave Bertram, CEO of Cycle Gear. “As we continue to expand nationally, we look for locations that have the best possible reach. Being nearly equidistant between Baltimore and Washington, DC, the Laurel store is in prime position to serve vast numbers of riders in urban and suburban regions alike.”
