Powersports and motorsports industry veteran Scott Highland has joined CV Products as the director of marketing and business development for the company’s “Everything Racing” operation. Over the past 20-plus years, Highland has held positions with JE Pistons, Xceldyne Technologies and CV Products. He was most recently the director of off-Road and sportbike markets for the Motorsport Aftermarket Group (MAG), concurrently serving as the general manager of UTV aftermarket supplier DragonFire.
“Scott’s experience in marketing and most recent role in developing products and building brands will increase our ability to expand our business in both the automotive and powersports markets,” says Jim Zoretich, president and CEO of CV Products. “His experience over the past several years will be utilized to identify and integrate acquisition candidates as we begin an aggressive growth strategy here at CV Products.”
Zoretich believes big things are in store for CV Products in the near future as Highland heads the marketing efforts in a new direction. “Scott worked with CV Products in the past and he is uniquely qualified to drive our future growth.”
When asked about his return, Scott stated, “I’m grateful to rejoin CV Products and its customer- focused team. Everyone has a passion for powersports and offers solutions for our ‘Everything Racing’ approach. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast paced results-driven industry. I look forward to helping expand CV Products and its’ CV4, Xceldyne and X2 brands exponentially.”
