Compass Expeditions Launches Beyond Siberia – Riding the Road of Bones Documentary at Cannes

In May 2014, 16 riders left London to embark on a 105 day adventure expedition to Magadan. Documentary filmmaker, Robin Newell joined us with the end result being called “Beyond Siberia – Riding the Road of Bones” and soon to become a TV mini series.

International television distribution company “Beyond” will represent the series and will be releasing it at MIPTV in Cannes; the worlds most prestigious TV / Digital market event, held annually at the Palais Des Festivals, Cannes. “It’s about time the world caught on how exciting riding motorbikes is,” said Jerry Cook of Compass Expeditions. “Launching at such a prestigious TV and film market is testament to that. With 1,000 participants from 100 countries, 60 keynotes speakers, 25 pavilions, 3,800 buyers 1,600 exhibiting companies 1,700 production companies 1,000 VOD buyers and 300 journalists all attending MIPTV.”

Planning for the second TV series is well underway. This two-part series will also be one of the world’s most challenging motorbike routes. Starting in Cairo and riding the full length of Africa arriving in Cape Town three months later.

She co-founded the Flying Piston charity events taking place in Daytona and Sturgis each year and is a National Ambassador for All Kids Bike. Stemp was inducted into both the Las Vegas Motorcycle Hall of Fame and the Sturgis Museum's Hall of Fame in 2018, and in 2022 she was recognized as one of the Top 100 Women in Powersports by DealerNews.
