The long-running amateur MX event, which features the top racers from Australia and New Zealand, was a proving ground for such American pro MX Nationals superstars as Chad Reed, Bret Metcalfe and Michael Byrne. MacArthur has also played host to a number of Australian Motocross National rounds in recent years.
