Ciari Guitars announced its participation in the American International Motorcycle Expo presented by Nationwide (AIMExpo), the powersports industry’s largest trade and consumer show in North America, in Columbus, OH, on Sept. 26-29. Dealers, media and consumers will convene for the four-day event, with Ciari Guitars introducing all-new products to the motorcycle industry.
Ciari Guitars will sponsor the “Made in America” Guitar Lounge featuring The Ascender premium travel guitar – the first full-size guitar with gig-ready quality and symmetrical folding for unparalleled “saddlebag storage” convenience. Nashville-made and recently launched, the revolutionary Ascender has quickly grabbed the attention of the music industry and beyond, as featured in USA Today, CNN, Guitar World and Forbes in 2019 alone.
“With our unique guitar solution for a quality yet convenient guitar in The Ascender, along with our Road Rig guitar and amp saddlebag/trunk, we couldn’t be more thrilled to introduce Ciari Guitars to the motorcycle community” said Jonathan Spangler, founder and CEO of Ciari Guitars. “We are proud to provide an innovative link between music and motorcycles so guitarists and those interested to learn never need to leave their axe at home.”
The Ciari Guitar Lounge will include multiple guitar play stations to allow show attendees to “test drive” an Ascender and the Road Rig. A live performance stage (The Ciari Stage) will showcase artists playing an Ascender and will also host a “Riff Contest” for show attendees to compete to win prizes. A Plek system will also be featured to highlight the state-of-the art technology used by Ciari Guitars to manufacture The Ascender to achieve optimal string action for premium playability.
“The Plek system is central to our commitment to quality. The Ascender is first and foremost a gig-ready, pro-quality guitar, which just happens to fold in half for unparalleled convenience,” continued Spangler.
Separate from the Ciari Guitar Lounge, Ciari will offer multiple guitar play stations at a bonfire located in The Camp, Ciari guitarist Tommy Benson will play the National Anthem on an Ascender at the Sideways Saturday event, and Ciari Founder and CEO Jonathan Spangler will present Shop Talks entitled Solving for Friction with Fearless Innovation and Strengthening a Community through Strategic Brand Alignment on Thursday and Friday.
Last but not least, Ciari Guitars will debut its next innovative product: The Road Rig – a a guitar saddle bag/trunk with a built-in guitar case for an Ascender and a built-in guitar amp – the perfect accessory for the guitar-loving motorcyclist. “While we originally created the Ascender to overcome the inconvenience of guitar air travel, we soon recognized that we had a unique solution for motorcycles as well,” Spangler said. “The AIMExpo presented by Nationwide is the perfect place to launch our Road Rig and showcase our Ascender due to our shared appreciation for lifestyle, mobility, and quality.”
The Motorcycle Industry Council couldn’t agree more.
“As consumers look for multi-faceted experiences when making buying decisions, we recognize the importance of embracing elements and brands that complement and support the powersports lifestyle. The Ciari Guitar Lounge in the Made in America pavilion is a great example of two different industries sharing common ground.” Cinnamon Kernes, vice president and general manager, MIC Events.
