Marquis Brings More Than 30 Years of Industry Experience to Bell’s Expanding Global Operation

Bell Helmets has named Gary Marquis as Senior Sales Manager for Asia-Pacific and Latin America. The move marks another key step in Bell’s ongoing effort to re-stake territorial marketing and distribution claims on a global basis.

In his new role, Marquis will be responsible for developing and maintaining the foundation of Bell’s Asia-Pacific and Latin America Powersports business. Marquis will implement all dimensions of sales management and will be responsible for developing and achieving sales objectives. Marquis will also work with Bell’s Global Sales team to identify new opportunities for growth in these regions.

Marquis brings more than 30 years of industry experience, including more than 25 years at Monza Imports, the Australian distributor for Bell Powersports and Bell Bike helmets. As the head of product marketing and sales strategy, Marquis helped grow Monza into one of Australia’s leading accessory suppliers in the motorcycle and action sports industries.

“We have worked with Gary for several years at Monza, and his track record of success in business development speaks for itself,” said Matt Schumann, Director of Sales – Powersports. “His experience and knowledge will be a valuable asset for us as we continue to grow in these regions, and we are ecstatic to have him on board.”

Hiring Marquis marks another success within Bell’s ongoing effort to secure proven industry leaders for positions that are critical to the company’s ongoing global development efforts in Latin America, Asia, Europe, South Africa, and New Zealand. Bell is committed to identifying distribution partners who will ensure that its core brand values and product-quality standards are upheld, while also increasing the brand’s presence and sales globally. Bell’s expansion will continue through other countries and regions going forward.
