Bell Helmets Names New Senior Product Manager

Bell Helmets appointed Tim Piver as senior product manager, where he will oversee the company’s emerging snowmobile category.

Bell Helmets appointed Tim Piver as senior product manager, where he will oversee the company’s emerging snowmobile category. The hiring is evidence of Bell’s continued desire to increase the growth and success of the iconic brand.

As senior product manager, Piver will work with Bell’s engineering and design team to conceptualize and develop new products that expand Bell’s offering and overall presence in the snow category. Piver will ensure new products are brand defining and transformative, while evaluating worldwide trends and consumer habits that will shape ongoing product development strategies. Additionally, Piver will be responsible for snow-related marketing strategies that bring new products to Bell’s worldwide distributors and dealers, activate consumer sales and champion Bell’s core brand pillars of heritage, innovation and performance.

“We are excited to have Tim come aboard and are looking forward to seeing him further our rapidly-growing product line,” said Chris Sackett, vice president of Bell Helmets. “His diverse background and experience, not only in the powersports industry, but in other avenues, will make him an invaluable part of the team.”

Piver brings more than 10 years of experience in the powersports industry, with specialization in sales, management and product development. He played an instrumental role in leading 509 to a position of dominance in the industry. During his time at Western Power Sports/FLY Racing, Piver managed the company’s snow department sales and helped them become the fastest-growing powersports distributors in the United States.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of such an amazing team here at Bell,” Piver said. “Bell is such an iconic brand, and I know this is the right place, at the right time, to make a powerful impact on the industry that I love so much. The notion of bringing Bell’s iconic legacy of performance innovation to the snow category is nothing short of thrilling.”

The hiring of Piver supports Bell’s long-term vision for expanding its worldwide market share by amplifying its brand relevance within new vertical categories and bringing unique, industry-changing products to its vast distributor and dealer network.
