Bell Helmets Names Crown Kiwi as its New Zealand Distributor

The strategic partnership between Bell Helmets and Crown Kiwi continues the brand's global revitalization and re-alignment efforts in New Zealand, which Bell believes is an important market in its ongoing efforts to expand and strengthen its global distribution.

Bell Helmets and Crown Kiwi Enterprises announced a strategic marketing and distribution agreement in New Zealand. The New Zealand-based company brings a wealth of experience and resources as one of the industry’s leading distributors of motorcycle products and accessories.

Bell believes New Zealand is an important market in its ongoing efforts to expand and strengthen its global distribution. Bell’s full line of helmets caters well to this diverse country, filled with an eclectic mix of riders and amazing scenic roads that offer world-class adventure.

“We are very excited to partner with the Crown Kiwi team to bring Bell to New Zealand on our 60th anniversary. We have many industry-leading helmets in the line and several new innovations in store that will revolutionize the motorcyclist’s helmet experience,” said Brett Conley, Bell Powersports Export Sales Manager – International. “I feel the experience and passion of a former world champion and New Zealand motorcycle hall of fame member like Shayne, is the perfect match to deliver a premium brand with such history and passion as ours to his market. The team at Crown Kiwi clearly understands the end user and share in their passion for two wheels.”

Crown Kiwi will introduce the Rogue, Bullitt and Custom 500 to cruiser, custom and vintage enthusiasts of New Zealand. In addition, the Star and RS-1 will be available for street and track riders, to showcase Bell’s commitment to industry-leading form and function. A launch event for dealers and members of the press is being planned for March 5, 2014 in Auckland.

“The chance to have such an amazing brand like Bell here at Crown Kiwi is truly an honour, and I remember the early days when I had my Bell Moto 3 tearing around the motocross tracks like it was just yesterday,” said Shayne King, Crown Kiwi Owner. “I’m sure everyone has a story about their first Bell helmet – there’s so much history with Bell, and we are looking forward to launching the brand and products to the dealer network and in stores March 2014.”
