Every June, the motorcycle rally Americade attracts tens of thousands of fun-loving motorcyclists to Lake George in Upstate New York, making it one of the largest events sanctioned annually by the American Motorcyclist Association.
Riders on all types of bikes, especially tourers, sport-tourers and cruisers, come for the area’s great riding, the event’s entertainment, numerous motorcycle-related activities and the friendly attitudes that make Americade one of the most-welcoming motorcycle rallies in America.
“Americade is a longstanding example of a responsible, safe and quiet motorcycling event, and one jam-packed with more activities than any one person could possibly do in six days,” said AMA President and CEO Rob Dingman, who will address Americade attendees at the event’s Friday Night Celebration. “Americade is one of America’s grandest motorcycle destinations for good reason, drawing tens of thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts who proudly represent the motorcycle lifestyle.”
Americade Director Christian Dutcher added: “Americade Week is an enormous and exciting undertaking, and the AMA’s support is critical to the success of this event. On behalf of Americade and thousands of attendees, I say, ‘Thank you’ to the AMA for their longstanding and future support.”
In addition to all the great two-wheel camaraderie of Americade, the event features guided tours in the Adirondack Park of New York and the Green Mountains of Vermont, motorcycle trade shows with hundreds of vendors, demo rides, bike shows, BBQs, parades, music and comedy shows, boat cruises on Lake George, museum tours, displays from nearly all the major motorcycle manufacturers, and more.
