AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days to Feature Dinner Ride to Ashland

Dozens of motorcyclists will participate in the Ashland Dinner Ride, an annual tradition that benefits the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, on July 9 during AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, riding from Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, to the historic half-mile dirt track in Ashland, Ohio.

For a $35 donation to the Hall of Fame, participants ride to the Ashland County Fairgrounds, enjoy dinner at the track, and then settle into their reserved grandstand seats to enjoy the vintage dirt track races. Riders also receive a pit pass.
“We’ll take you on about a 40-mile ride through the countryside and get you to the fairgrounds in plenty of time to enjoy dinner and settle in for some great vintage dirt track racing action,” said Rob Baughman, AMA assistant manager for recreational road riding, who will be leading the ride.
This year’s ride is sponsored by Sena Technologies Inc., makers of motorcycle communications equipment, smart helmets, cameras and noise-control products.
Sena is giving away a 10C motorcycle Bluetooth camera and communications system (www.sena.com/product/10c) to a randomly selected dinner ride participant.
“At the heart of both Sena and the AMA, we like to think it’s truly about the passion and joy of riding and living life to its fullest,” said Sena CEO Tae Kim. “That’s why we’re so proud to be a partner of this association and help to support the great events, such as AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, that they organize and put on for riders all across the nation!”
AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days is July 8-10 at Mid-Ohio.
