More than 1 million bikers are rolling into the Black Hills of South Dakota to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the Sturgis Rally this summer. The perfect tie-in to the all-American rally is of course, Flat Track racing. Mark your calendars for August 4, 2015 for the Black Hills Half-Mile at Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City, SD.

“Dirt track racing is uniquely American,” says Black Hills Harley-Davidson GM/Co-Owner and event promoter Terry Rymer. “The AMA Pro Flat Track series is one of the oldest motorsports championships in the nation, which makes it a natural to tie in with one of the country’s oldest motorcycle rallies. This has been one of the most exciting seasons of AMA Pro Flat Racing in years and it is an honor to be able to bring the pros to Black Hills Speedway,” Rymer adds.

A huge fan of the sport, Terry attempted to bring Flat Track to Sturgis last year, but was rained out. “It wasn’t meant to be, but with it being the 75th anniversary maybe Mother Nature was right to suggest it would be better to run the race this year?” In an effort to help encourage first timers to come see a flat track race, and to draw dyed in the wool fans away from the scenic wonders of South Dakota, Rymer has a number of special promotions planned, including all-access VIP passes to the hospitality area.

“You can’t buy these passes, but with the help of our friends from Revere, we want to give a couple lucky winners the best seats in the house,” Terry says. To win follow and tag on Instagram @Revere_Seats then Repost the attached image and use #BHHDVIP for a chance to win 2 VIP passes.

Presented by Harley-Davidson, Vance & Hines, Drag Specialties, Dunlop Motorcycle Tires, Budweiser, Revere Seats, Law Tigers and Black Hills Harley-Davidson, there is a full docket of racing action on tap.
