The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) is launching its new Dealer Affiliate Program, which allows dealers to earn extra income while simultaneously safeguarding the future of motorcycling.
“The dealer is the tip of the spear when it comes to the first interaction that a new motorcyclist, or frankly any motorcyclist, might have,” said AMA president and CEO Rob Dingman. “It’s really important for us to work with dealers for that reason.”
The AMA’s Dealer Affiliate Program pays dealers and other retail outlets in the motorcycle industry a commission on each AMA membership they sell. Even better, each new membership helps protect the dealer’s business and their customers’ right to ride. The AMA makes this easy by providing unique links or web ads that take visitors to a page where they can join the AMA.
“This new program will help motorcycle dealers and businesses protect our industry against anti-motorcycling threats, plus make themselves some additional money at the same time,” said Dingman. “The threats to motorcycling are real … By helping the AMA grow, dealers and others in the motorcycling industry increase the political clout for all of us to fight these battles and safeguard the future of motorcycling.”
Participation in the program is simple, immediate and free. When a dealer or business signs up, the AMA provides participants with a Web link and a unique market code for placement on the company’s website. When a visitor joins the AMA through that link, the dealer gets paid $5 for new members and $2.50 for renewals. Checks are sent every month.
“We want to engage as many people as we can to help us promote the motorcycle lifestyle and protect the future of motorcycling through our advocacy efforts,” said Dingman.
