AMA Hall of Fame Breakfast to Feature Silent Auction

The 2014 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Breakfast at Daytona, presented by Yamaha, will again include the popular silent auction fundraiser in addition to the featured guest, Hall of Famer Craig Vetter. The silent auction will feature one-of-a-kind autographed posters, memorabilia and donated items.

The 2014 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Breakfast at Daytona, presented by Yamaha, will again include the popular silent auction fundraiser in addition to the featured guest, Hall of Famer Craig Vetter. Vetter will be interviewed onstage, answer audience questions and sign autographs with other Hall of Famers at the Daytona 500 Club on Friday, March 14, in Daytona Beach, Fla.

The silent auction will feature one-of-a-kind autographed posters and memorabilia, plus items donated by a number of companies in support of the Hall of Fame. Companies include presenting sponsor Yamaha, Motul USA, Motion Pro and others.

This year’s special guest, Hall of Famer Craig Vetter, is a renowned motorcycle inventor, designer and racer. Vetter’s iconic Windjammer fairings were ubiquitous in the 1970s and ’80s, and he designed bikes like the Mystery Ship and the Triumph X-75 Hurricane before turning his attention to high-mileage motorcycles, a cause he still champions today with a series of contests.

"The silent auction is always a great way to pick up something amazing, like a poster autographed by dozens of AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famers, along with some great products from companies that support the Hall of Fame, with all the proceeds going to a great cause," said Jeffrey V. Heininger, chairman of the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation. "Tickets are still available for our annual Breakfast at Daytona, and we certainly hope you can make it to this Hall of Fame event honoring Craig Vetter."

The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Breakfast at Daytona will be held at the Daytona 500 Club on the infield of Daytona International Speedway on the second Friday of Bike Week, on March 14, with proceeds going to the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame.
