AIMExpo Presented by Nationwide to Bring Bold Changes to 2019 Event

AIMExpo presented by Nationwide is bringing a new floor plan, new features and a new schedule when it returns to Columbus, Ohio on Sept. 26-29.

More experiences. New lifestyle “neighborhoods.” And dirt! AIMExpo presented by Nationwide is bringing a new floor plan, new features and a new schedule when it returns to Columbus, Ohio on Sept. 26-29.

The largest showcase of the motorcycle and powersports industry in North America will highlight the exciting and diverse lifestyles represented by the modern industry and desired by today’s riders. It will be more experiential than ever, with lifestyle vignettes in the exhibit hall allowing dealers and consumers to immerse themselves in the different segments that powersports has to offer. AIMExpo Outdoors will provide visitors with two-wheel test rides as well as new-to-Columbus four-wheel dirt experiences.

NEW FLOOR PLAN, NEW FEATURES, NEW SHOW SCHEDULE

Significant changes are in the works. These will focus not just on products but the increasingly important culture that surrounds every ride. The expo floor plan will be laid out to showcase the main powersports lifestyle groups. The Alley is dedicated to street, urban and sport riders, The Camp will focus on two- and four-wheel off-road and adventure enthusiasts, while The Shop is where visitors will find the V-twin, cruiser and custom segments. These featured “neighborhoods” will allow visitors to easily identify their areas of special interest and provide a more immersive experience on the show floor. Neighborhoods will showcase the diversity of the modern powersports industry and highlight the latest buying trends, new machinery, parts, accessories and technologies available in each.

With more than 500 exhibiting brands participating in the show, AIMExpo presented by Nationwide is changing the traditional show schedule to create a more dedicated time for attendees to spend on the show floor.

“Our goal is to create the best balance of comprehensive education and time spent with our exhibiting partners and the latest products and the innovations they have to offer,” said Cinnamon Kernes, vice president and general manager, MIC Events. “Everything is central to the show theme Together We Rise, recognizing the need for the powersports industry to come together and together, progress.”

GREATER EMPHASIS ON FOUR-WHEEL POWERSPORTS

As the side-by-side segment continues to see major growth, the show will shine a spotlight on four-wheelers. Dirt demos are returning to AIMExpo Outdoors to give dealers, consumers and media an opportunity to ride the newest units in this category. Product showcases, featured parts, accessories and apparel will spotlight the lifestyle alongside latest and greatest from the ATV and side-by-side worlds.

WELCOME BACK TO COLUMBUS!

“We’re returning to Columbus with a host of changes from last year’s successful show,” said Andre Albert, director of sales and marketing, MIC Events. “We’re excited to spotlight and energize the powersports industry and showcase the best it has to offer. The new lifestyle segments in the show bring the passion, excitement and freedom from our sport to the exhibition floor. Outside, we’re excited to add off-road demo rides to AIMExpo Outdoors. These additions, combined with subtle but significant changes to the basic architecture of the show, will give dealers, exhibitors and consumers the best show experience possible.”
