The AGV Horizon was designed for maximum versatility, making it perfect for everything from racing to frequent and/or longer journeys, in any weather and light conditions. Its IVS ventilation system is built into the shell to guarantee effective airflow inside the helmet and high aerodynamic performance. The back spoiler reduces turbulence and improves stability. The outer shell is made of Carbonglass, a mix of fiberglass and carbon fiber that gives the helmet a stiff, strong and very light structure. The internal padding has 3-D construction for improved comfort and a shape designed specifically to offer more effective insulation against external noise. The new Dri-Lex fabrics reduce friction when pulling the helmet on or off. The new, bigger chin guard guarantees better insulation against drafts and noise from below. The Horizon is also equipped with an internal, scratch-proof, anti-fog smoke sun visor.
The AGV Horizon also has a GT2 clear visor in optical class 1 non-scratch and anti-fog polycarbonate with 100% protection from UV radiation. Its XQRS (Extra Quick Release System) visor is removable and replaceable without tools in just a few seconds. The helmet comes in two shell sizes and is DOT and ECE-22.05 certified.
