ADP Lightspeed recently announced a new parts and accessories data solution for Ducati North America and its dealers. The solution will create a network of inventory sharing between Ducati dealers, Lightspeed dealers, and the Ducati warehouse.
Participating Ducati dealers will be able to share their inventory with the entire Lightspeed dealer base. In addition, Ducati dealers will also have the ability to easily search the Ducati warehouse directly from an invoice in LightspeedNXT.
The program goal is to create a central parts and accessory database for Ducati dealers and Ducati North America that will help ensure customers’ needs are met quickly. Using the Parts Locator found in LightspeedNXT, Ducati dealers will submit their parts inventory information and search parts at other dealer locations and at Ducati’s warehouses. Seeing the value in this service, Ducati has offered to fully fund the program. For participating dealers the standard fee is waived.
“Ducati is constantly looking for ways to increase customer satisfaction and improve on the business process with our dealers,” said Jeremy Cleland, Parts and Accessories Business Manager for Ducati North America. “ADP Lightspeed stepped up and provided us with an innovative tool for our dealers to view our warehouse inventory and also work with each other to locate time-sensitive parts. Solutions like these reduce the waiting time for customers, improving their experience and strengthening the Ducati brand.”
“By providing a streamlined method for dealers to automatically share their inventory, Ducati is once again leading the pack ensuring their dealer base has the best tools to serve their customers," said Dave Johnson of ADP Lightspeed. This interface means more happy customers, more parts turns for dealers, and the quality service Ducati customers expect.”
Ducati dealers can sign up for the new Parts Locator program by going to the subscriptions section of LightspeedNXT. For more information about ADP Lightspeed, visit www.adplightspeed.com.
