Motorsport Aftermarket Group (MAG) recently announced the hiring of Eric Anderson to oversee sales and marketing strategies at the fast-growing company.

In the newly created role of vice president of sales & marketing, Anderson — who previously served as vice president at Scorpion Sports and more recently worked as a branding and business development consultant — will oversee all of MAG’s marketing, training, branding and sales-related efforts. Companies operating in coordination under MAG include Vance & Hines, Kuryakyn, Renthal, Progressive Suspension, Performance Machine, RSD, J&P Cycles and Mustang Motorcycle Products, among others.

“Eric has an extensive amount of experience in powersports sales and marketing, as well as a unique ability to look at the business from the customer’s point of view," says MAG President & CEO Brian Etter. "His professional experience and passion for riding make Eric a perfect fit for MAG.”

Anderson’s specific responsibilities will include oversight of domestic and international sales, marketing, creative services, dealer development and apparel categories.

Anderson started in the powersports industry in 1980 as technical analyst and director of special programs for MIC and MSF. Later, he transitioned into sales management and leadership roles for several high-profile brands, including Harley-Davidson, Hein Gericke, FIRSTGEAR, Schuberth, Held and Scorpion Sports.

“It’s a new MAG poised for the next level,” Anderson says.  “This is the right place and the right time for MAG to have created this position, and I for one am honored to be playing a leading role in what’s to come.”
