Maxima Racing Oils Announces Professional Supercross/Motocross Teams for 2016

Since 1979, Maxima Racing Oils has been rooted in professional dirt bike racing and 2016 proves to be no different. Maxima has announced its technical partnerships for the 2016 season. Teams will exclusively use the full line of Maxima Racing Oils in their attempts to claim the top spot of the podium throughout the 2016 racing season.

Teams will exclusively use the full line of Maxima Racing Oils in their attempts to claim the top spot of the podium throughout the 2016 racing season. All teams kicked off their season on Saturday, January 9th for the first round of the AMA/FIM Monster Energy Supercross series.

Autotrader / Monster Energy / Yamaha

The newest edition to the Maxima field of teams. Based in Huntsville, North Carolina and best known as the JGR MX team will field a 3 rider effort again in 2016. Justin Barcia and Weston Peick will contest in the 450 class in both the Monster Energy Supercross and Pro Motocross Nationals. Phil Nicoletti will be the team’s full time fill-in rider for Monster Energy Supercross and will line up with Barcia and Peick for the full Pro Motocross Nationals.

Monster Energy Kawasaki

Factory Kawasaki Racing has chosen Maxima Racing Oils as their lubricant partner for over a decade. In 2016, the team has aligned with the dominant and title contender Eli Tomac, Second year team rider Wil Hahn will contest on the team’s second stead. Both riders will compete in the Monster Energy Supercross and Pro Motocross National series.

Mitch Payton has believed in Maxima for over 20 years and his squad returns as Kawasaki’s 250cc or Lites class effort. The team will field 5 riders in 2016, all capable of a championship. American’s Tyler Bowers, Joey Savatgy, Adam Cianciarulo and Chris Alldredge will be accompanied by Switzerland’s Arnaud Tonus to round out their powerful team.
