In an effort to proactively protect recreation access and opportunities by supporting Tread Lightly!, a variety of companies within the outdoor recreation industry have donated more than 50 items to the nonprofit organization Tread Lightly! for its Seventh Annual Charity Auction. The auction went live August 3 and runs through August 10.

Big ticket items this year include a Gator XUV 825i utility vehicle donated by John Deere.

A terrific selection of products ranging from automotive aftermarket accessories to outdoor camping equipment are also up for sale through the auction.  Bids generally start at 40 to 60 percent below retail prices so click here to visit the auction and get a great deal while supporting a great cause.

All money raised will be used to help keep America’s great outdoors open to the public through ethics education and stewardship programs.

“We’re busy implementing programs and partnerships that are national in scope, local in impact to help ensure outdoor recreation endures as part of America’s heritage for generations to come,” said Tread Lightly!’s executive director Lori McCullough.  “Money raised from this auction comes from the outdoor recreation community and we are committed to making sure it spent entirely to the benefit of the recreation community.”

Tread Lightly! would like to extend a special thanks to this year’s top donors:
