ShockStrap is a unique shock absorbing tie down that incorporates three of the most versatile tie down principals into one system and is rated at 500lbs. It is quick and easy like a motorcycle tie down, has the reliability of a ratchet system and versatility of a shock cord. The cam buckle has very aggressive angled teeth which will allow you to set the strap and maintain constant tension to keep it from moving even when wet. This same design allows you to release the cam buckle simply by pushing the button.
ShockStrap tie downs maintain tension on the webbing when stretched, locking it into the buckle. When road vibrations cause loads to shift and settle, other tie downs can loosen and become unsafe. Under these conditions, ShockStrap stretches acting like a shock absorber and contracts with the load keeping it secure.
