Seizmik has announced a new line of gun holders designed specifically for UTVs. The North Carolina based company will offer four different products to UTV owners looking for safe and secure transportation of their weapons.
“When we looked at the gun holders available on the market, it was painfully clear that none of the products were designed specifically for use on UTVs,” says president of Seizmik, Steve Shankin. “Those products were designed for other applications, like ATVs or trucks, then adapted to work on UTVs. Since we specialize in UTV accessories, we set out to design the absolute best gun holders for UTVs – with no compromises or sacrifices. We spent a tremendous amount of time and energy in the process, and we’re incredibly pleased with the results.”
The new line of products from Seizmik include: the ICOS (In Cab On Seat); the OHGR (OverHead Gun Rack); the Armory SST (Secure Storage & Transport); and the Armory X Rack. All of the products were conceived with the sole purpose of providing the best possible choices for sportsmen to carry their long guns on their UTVs. The entire product line will be available mid-late August through powersports, farm, and agricultural dealers.
The ICOS (MRSP $149.99) requires no tools, installs in seconds, and utilizes the vehicle’s existing seat belt to mount within the UTV.
The OHGR (MSRP $149.99) installs on the ROPS (rollover protection system) of most vehicles and stores the guns overhead and out of the way. Made with premium materials like glass-filled nylon and cast aluminum, the OHGR (pronounced ‘ogre’) looks as good as your guns – not like something someone made in the garage.
The Armory SST gun case (MSRP $199.99) and the Armory X Rack (MSRP $159.99) work in tandem to store and transport two weapons (requires two Armory SST cases and one Armory X Rack). The design of the system positions the cases over the dump bed of most vehicles, leaving the bed clear for gear or game.
The Armory SST case is easily installed or removed from the Armory X Rack without the need for tools. A durable, glass-filled nylon lever is large enough to easily operate with gloves or mittens, and once released, the case lifts right out. With the Armory X Rack attached to both sides of the dump bed, its stiff, rigid, and strong—staying securely attached to the vehicle no matter how aggressive the terrain gets.
