“Hare scrambles is one of the many exciting events at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days that anyone who loves racing can get involved in,” said AMA Director of Racing Kevin Crowther. “With a variety of classes suited for all ages and skill levels, everyone has the opportunity to experience this style of off-road racing.”

The vintage hare scrambles class structure will mimic the class structure for vintage motocross racing. Classes will be based more on the technology of the motorcycle, rather than on the year of the bike. For more information, see the supplemental rules at www.amavintagemotorcycledays.com/page/vintage-off-road-2017.

New this year, the hare scrambles competition also will feature a 125cc Junior (12-15) class and other age-based classes.

For 2017, the hare scrambles course will feature a new, longer grass track section in addition to the same amount of trail as in previous years.

Register to be a part of the competition before July 4 at www.amavintagemotorcycledays.com/page/vintage-off-road-2017.

Other racing events taking place during AMA Vintage Motorcycle days include motocross, road racing, dirt track and exhibition racing. For more information visit www.amavintagemotorcycledays.com and click on “Racing.”
