NADAguides to Sponsor AIMExpo HAPPY! Happy Hour; NPA Seeking Items for PBTF Charity Auction

Trade attendees at AIMExpo are invited to meet and mingle, bid on moto memorabilia for charity, and have a free drink at HAPPY! Happy Hour, Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. in the lobby of the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

NADAguides has been named the new sponsor of one of the show’s most popular events. HAPPY! Happy Hour presented by NADAguides offers trade attendees the chance to get together and network after the show’s first day.

A growing philanthropic tradition is an important part of the evening, with a live charity auction benefitting the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation’s (PBTF) Cycle World Joseph C. Parkhurst Education Fund. Longstanding show partner National Powersport Auctions (NPA) will again lend its live auction expertise to the event, and is calling upon the industry to donate auction items to make this fifth annual auction the most successful yet.

“NADAguides is extremely proud to be a supporter of AIMExpo since its inception,” said Lenny Sims, chief business development officer at NADAguides. “The show serves a very important function for the powersports industry, so it’s critical that brands like ours show support and get involved. We’re thrilled to be able to get behind the HAPPY! Happy Hour and more importantly, help create awareness for the incredible work of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. The auction will help raise valuable funding for an amazing cause, so come by and bid on some items while having a drink on us.”

Spotlighting the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, well known in the powersports industry for its Ride For Kids fundraisers, has been at the forefront of AIMExpo’s charitable initiatives. The charity auction has benefitted greatly from the expertise of NPA, raising thousands of dollars each year for the PBTF’s education fund.

“We are more than pleased to welcome NADAguides as a partner in HAPPY! Happy Hour, a wonderfully important show function,” said Larry Little, vice president and general manager, MIC Events. “Just like NADAguides is a valuable tool for looking up vehicle values, the happy hour is an equally valuable tool to lookup and compare notes with industry friends and associates after a busy first day. A very generous industry also helps raise money for the continuing education of kids who have survived their brain tumors. Educational scholarship funding is growing in importance as survival rates increase, thanks to critical gains in research funded by PBTF grants over the past 30 plus years.”

The auction is seeking unique items of historical or collectible nature that would appeal to motorcycle and powersports dealers and other industry professionals. If you have an item of interest, please contact Sara Spohr of NPA  at [email protected].
