MotoLink LLC, a wireless connectivity technology provider for powersports industry, announced that it has won the 2018 Gas Tank Competition set up by Motorcycle Industry Council for new and innovative startups in the powersports industry.

During the AIMExpo 2018 in Las Vegas, NV, the finalists presented their business plans to the panel of influential industry business leaders who judged them on monetary growth potential, overall strategic plan, scalability, innovation, impact and viability, among other criteria. The world’s first connectivity platform for powersports, MotoLink, showed the potential of transforming the industry by unlocking valuable diagnostic and riding data, generating new revenue streams and cutting operational costs, bringing home the win.

“Congratulations to Alex Leonov and the entire MotoLink team for winning the Motorcycle Industry Council’s 2018 Gas Tank Competition. We’re proud to support the growth and success of emerging powersports businesses through our Gas Tank Competition and all four of the presenting companies were impressive,” said Tim Buche, MIC president and CEO. “The passion and vision Leonov and his team have for expanding powersports vehicle connectivity is really compelling and earned them a first-place finish. The MotoLink platform delivers all the necessary hardware and software components to quickly bring secure connectivity to powersports vehicles and tap into valuable diagnostic and riding data. The MotoLink platform easily integrates with motorcycles, ATVs, scooters, snowmobiles, PWC and other powersports vehicles, whether already on the road, brand new or yet to be developed.

“We are honored to receive this prestigious award from the powersports industry’s leading association,” said Alex Leonov, founder and managing director of MotoLink LLC. “Our goal was to empower vehicle manufacturers, dealerships, insurance companies and other market players to generate additional revenue, cut operational costs, while also improving safety, customer satisfaction and overall riding enjoyment by unlocking valuable vehicle data and enabling a critical link to the end user. This award is a very important milestone for us and a confirmation that we are on the right track with our MotoLink connectivity platform.”

Modular and scalable, the MotoLink platform can be implemented fully or partially, as a co-branded or white-labelled solution, or custom-built based on exact requirements, all licensed to suit. MotoLink enables clients to introduce connectivity to their powersports vehicles on-time and on-budget. MotoLink engineering services, encompassing the entire range of product development and testing, will help bring a client-specific solution to the market quickly and ahead of the competition.
