Kirsh Helmets brought its revolutionary new DOT approved half helmet to AIMExpo, where COO Donald Devito explained the philosophy, features and benefits behind the helmets in detail to show attendees.
The low profile, lightweight CHM-1 is the first in a series of helmets that brings a unique technology to the hugely popular half-shell design. The enhanced protection of the helmet comes from a patented fluid displacement liner that is more efficient at handling kinetic energy generated in accidents. The liner is cooling thanks to propylene glycol that fills it, and also conforms uniquely to each individual rider’s head.
Kirsh Helmets, Inc., was formed in late January 2017 to take up the challenge of commercializing an innovative, patented technology invented by Jason Kirshon and owned by Impact Technologies, LLC. Focusing first on solving the problem of unsafe – but popular – novelty half-shell motorcycle helmets, Kirsh’s product outperforms competing helmets by orders of magnitude in independent testing, according to the company.
