Kawasaki has announced a new premium Ranch Edition MULE for the 2016 model year. It comes loaded with extra equipment and is finished in a painted Metallic Titanium color scheme to ensure it not only stands out but will be in demand in the utility SxS market. And all of this comes with Kawasaki’s 3-year warranty.

The Kawasaki MULE PRO-FXT is the fastest and most versatile MULE ever, according to the company. The Ranch Edition offers 48 lb.ft. of torque from its 812cc engine, versatile three- or six-passenger Trans Cab seating configuration, up to 1000 lb. cargo capacity and up to 2000 lb. towing ability as well as speed-sensitive Electric Power Steering (EPS), comprehensive instrumentation and comfortable bench seats with seatbelts for every occupant. This combination has led to a number of industry awards being bestowed upon the Mule Pro-FXT following its 2014 launch.

With the extra equipment and premium appearance, Kawasaki says the 2016 MULE PRO-FXT Ranch Edition brings a level of sophistication and versatility not seen before in the utility SxS market. Yet it maintains the vehicle’s dependability and durability, and adds a bit of style to the equation as well.

One of the standout features of all MULE PRO-FXT models, including the Ranch Edition, is its Trans Cab seating and cargo bed arrangement. It is a 1:1:1 system that allows one person to convert the seating with one trip around the vehicle in less than one minute. In fact, one person can easily convert the comfortable three-passenger machine into a spacious six-passenger workhorse quickly and without tools.

With this Trans Cab feature, the cargo bed length is easily increased from 22” in the six-passenger configuration, to 42.7” in the three-passenger layout.

Passengers can also power their accessories during all-day adventures thanks to a multitude of built-in 12-volt outlets. These are powered by the high-output alternator, which delivers 60.8 amps (at 2,000rpm with the headlights on).

Each passenger can take advantage of the additional outlets to charge or power everything from phones and tablets to GPS devices and other technology you can’t be without.

The Ranch Edition includes two 12V power outlets up front that will supply up to 120 watts, as well as an additional two outlets in the rear of the vehicle.

The 2016 Kawasaki MULE PRO-FXT Ranch Edition may look special, but don’t let its premium exterior to fool you. The company says the MULE has lost none of its ruggedness or durability. So while the hood is painted in Metallic Titanium and the doors have special graphics, the Ranch Edition is built with the same solid engineering Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd brings to all its products.

Owners of the new Ranch Edition will enjoy the opportunity to accessorize and specialize the vehicle, to accentuate their individual style and personal usage requirements using more than 60 Kawasaki Genuine Accessories. They can opt to provide extra protection for the vehicle, equipping it with both skid plates and brush guards.

To help protect the occupants from the elements, Kawasaki offers everything from hard and soft tops, to full and half windshields as well as hard or soft cabin enclosures and doors. All of these Kawasaki Genuine Accessories were developed alongside the vehicle, for optimum integration, fit and finish.

MULE PRO-FXT Ranch Edition owners can also choose from accessories such as a half windshield, bed extender, cargo bed divider, dual battery kit and so much more.

As an added bonus, the Kawasaki STRONG Three-Year Limited Factory Warranty remains intact after the purchase and installation of any of these accessories, which were all developed and tested along with the machine itself.

Consumers interested to see how their new Ranch Edition will look with Kawasaki Genuine Accessories in place are able to build their vehicle online, adding their favorite accessories and seeing them installed on the vehicle. They then have the opportunity to print their custom build list and take it to their local Kawasaki dealer to purchase the exact vehicle specification they designed.
