Kawasaki opened AIMExpo with the unveiling of their new 2019 models, including the Mule and Ninja.
“Performance, performance, performance, that’s our middle name at Kawasaki,” said Bill Jenkins, senior vice president of sales.
Four Kawasaki’s Mule SX models are now available with standard digital fuel injection, including the 4×4 FI, 4×4 XC FI, 4×4 XC Camo FI and the 4×4 XC LE FI. Also released for the 2019 Mule line of side-by-sides is the Mule Pro DX-EPS, DXT and DXT-EPS.
The Ninja H2, H2 Carbon and H2R all received a significant increase in power for 2019, resulting in a 209.4 mph land speed record by the Ninja H2 at Bonneville Speed Week.
Additional updates to the Ninja include a highly durable paint on areas that are susceptible to additional wear from normal riding, the fitment of a new TFT color display panel and OE adoption of Bridgestone RS11 Battlax tires.
The latest Brembo Stylema brake calipers were fitted to the new Ninjas to offer increased braking performance with superior cooling characteristics.
Kawasaki also released their new smart phone app that links to the TFT display when riding.
Also all-new for 2019, the. The new Ninja ZX-6R-636 is completely restyled, with twin LED taillights and headlights, standard Quick Shifter, high-grade instrumentation, optimized gear ratios and compliant with Euro4 emissions with a starting price of $9,999.
Kawasaki also announced the new Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-10RR with a long list of power and suspension improvements.
Kawasaki is anticipating EICMA and will release four new USA models at the upcoming Italian show.
