iMotorsports Adds Can-Am Spyder Franchise

iMotorsports, the largest independent used motorcycle dealer in Illinois, is no longer independent. As of late 2014, iMotorsports added the Can-Am Spyder franchise to its growing business. In addition to carrying the new units, iMotorsports will be an authorized Spyder service center and carry a full line of parts, accessories, and clothing.

The Can-Am Spyder line-up includes four models to meet the desired riding experience of multiple types of riders. In addition to carrying the new units, iMotorsports will be an authorized Spyder service center and carry a full line of parts, accessories, and clothing.

“Adding new franchises is part of iMotorsports’ long term growth plan, it was just a matter of which one and when,” said Haider Saba, president, iMotorsports. “The three-wheel segment is growing and Can-Am Spyder produces a great product.”

The Can-Am Spyder signature Y-frame design and seven automotive technologies like ABS, traction control, and stability control, allow riders to grip the road tightly for a confident ride. The Spyder RT touring line delivers the ultimate in touring performance and comfort. The Spyder RS sport line represents the machine for the rider who has a passion for a vehicle as stunning through the curves as it is to the eye. The Spyder ST sport-touring line represents the optimum combination of comfort and sportiness. The newest line, the Spyder F3 combines a muscular design, a custom-fit cruising-riding position, and an advanced stability system for one incredible ride.

The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame recently named Marilyn Stemp and Steve Piehl to its board of directors.

Stemp is a pioneering figure in the motorcycle industry, founding IronWorks Magazine with her late husband, Dennis, and becoming the first female editor of a nationally circulated, mainstream motorcycle magazine. She also revived their trade magazine, Iron Trader News; edits the monthly Kiwi Indian News; contributes to several powersports media outlets; and is the founding editor of Sturgis Rider Daily. Stemp is a noted editor and writer of several motorcycle-focused books. Her consistent support for charitable efforts in the industry include the annual Biker Belles Celebration, Las Vegas BikeFest and as campaign chair for the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum’s development plan in 2014. She co-founded the Flying Piston charity events taking place in Daytona and Sturgis each year and is a National Ambassador for All Kids Bike. Stemp was inducted into both the Las Vegas Motorcycle Hall of Fame and the Sturgis Museum's Hall of Fame in 2018, and in 2022 she was recognized as one of the Top 100 Women in Powersports by DealerNews.
