Husqvarna to Factory Fill with MOTOREX, Extends Partnership with ProTaper

Husqvarna Motorcycles announced that it will exclusively use MOTOREX oils for all models that roll off their production lines. The manufacturer also extended its sponsorship agreement with ProTaper for its racing and production machines.

Husqvarna Motorcycles announced that it will exclusively use MOTOREX oils for all models that roll off their production lines. In addition, the manufacturer will further recommend MOTOREX lubricants and the wide variety of care and maintenance products from the comprehensive MOTOREX Moto line.

Manufactured in Langenthal, Switzerland, MOTOREX products are well-known around the world for their quality and performance. Founded by pioneer Arnold Bucher in 1917, the BUCHER-MOTOREX Group is an independent family owned business that pride themselves on high-quality products and world-class customer care. With their in-house laboratory developing the next generation of lubricants and care products, MOTOREX’ engineers work hard to fulfill the brand’s promise for continuous innovation.

For Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing the signing of this agreement with MOTOREX further increases motivation ahead of a thrilling new season of international competition.

“This new agreement with MOTOREX ensures we have a technical partner we can 100% rely on, allowing us to continue chasing victories in all championship and events around the world, across all disciplines,” said Diego Clement, Head of Motorsport, Husqvarna Motorcycles. “MOTOREX products are well-proven at the highest level of racing and we are more than pleased that the entire Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team will be using them through 2018 and beyond. The new season starts with two hugely important events for us, the Dakar Rally and the first round of the AMA Supercross series. Aiming for the top step of the podium in both disciplines, we are very much looking forward to starting this new year with MOTOREX by our side.”

“This new cooperation with Husqvarna comprises all the components needed for success – a dedicated cooperation in R&D, in production, in racing and in the aftermarket business with the Husqvarna dealers,” said Edi Fischer, CEO BUCHER MOTOREX Group. “The sporting spirit together with the targeted attitude of both companies contribute to the fact that we at MOTOREX feel very confident about this exciting partnership. We are very much looking forward to this new relationship with Husqvarna.”

Husqvarna also announced the extension of their sponsorship agreement with ProTaper. The multi-year agreement will see the U.S. based company continue to supply Husqvarna Motorcycles and the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team with their innovative product line through to the end of the 2020 season.

“It’s very exciting for the ProTaper brand to build on our partnership with Husqvarna Motorcycles and join their factory teams in racing globally at the highest level,” said Paul Perebijnos, ProTaper Brand Manager. “Both these brands strive to push product innovation with an absolute focus on premium quality, which make this partnership a perfect fit.”
