Held USA is now offering more motorcycle gear for women, with a diverse range of jackets, pants, gloves, boots and armored casual wear. The expanded women’s collection includes textile, leather and denim pieces, offering gear choices for every type of riding and sense of style.
In the textile category, all three of the Held jacket and pant combinations are now available in women’s sizes. Gore-Tex technology means that the Cadora / Manero, Carese II / Torno II, and Camaris / Ravero combinations are waterproof, windproof and breathable. From touring to sport riding, these textile options from Held are designed for comfort in all weather conditions, featuring removable liners, vents and armor.
Riders who prefer leather can choose the new Roxanne leather jacket and Aileen leather pants, which can be paired together with a connecting zipper. This duo is ideal for touring, and the understated, retro styling make them a perfect fit for the Held Café Collection. The jacket features vents, hip adjustment options and decorative rivets. Both the pants and jacket have D3O armor for protection.
The perfect finish for the Roxanne jacket and Aileen pants is a pair of Shira women’s boots. These leather and textile touring boots have a waterproof, windproof and breathable HydroGuard membrane. The Shira boots also have a detachable internal height adjustment, a gear-shift pad and protection on the shin and ankle areas.
For racers and sport riders, the one-piece leather Ayana suit offers all of the safety features of leathers, such as SAS-TEC armor and titanium protector plates, paired with a tailored fit for women.
Held’s Hoover jeans come in a specific women’s cut, as well. The elasticized cotton stretch material is supplemented by DuPont Kevlar reinforcement in the seat, hips, thighs and knees. A detachable stirrup makes it easy to slide on boots, and there are pockets for optional knee protectors.
The Kendo protector shirt for women is designed to be worn under a jacket or other outer layer, and its 3D air mesh panels promote air circulation while a suite of CE-approved SAS-TEC armor guards the shoulders, elbows and back. Special Ripstop material and a foam rib protector add even more reinforcement.
Glove options include the Touch, Air n Dry and Rachel. The kangaroo and cowhide Touch is compatible with touchscreen devices, while the perforated, summertime Air n Dry uses Gore-Tex 2in1 technology to offer waterproofing that does not hinder airflow. The women’s Rachel glove also utilizes GORE-TEX, and the goatskin palm is paired with SUPERFABRIC, hard knuckles and a visor wipe for premium function and safety.
