Graves Motorsports has introduced its new Full Titanium Racing Exhaust System for Yamaha’s 2015-’17 model FZ07 2-cylinder sportbike. Employing the same design technology and performance gains found on its YZF-R1 and R6 factory race bike exhaust systems, the Graves Ti Race System is constructed from the highest available aerospace grade Titanium, featuring tapered header pipes and seamless laser precision welds for the strongest and widest power band possible. All pipe joints have machined fittings for perfect flow and fit. The head pipes mount to the cylinder head spigot with 7075T65T Billet Hard Anodized Alloy Flanges for long life. This tuned system eliminates the stock OEM catalytic converter for a significant reduction in weight and a huge performance gain, but as such is only sold for use in off-road closed course racing.
Performance gains for the Graves FZ07 Exhaust System are significant with a strong increase in torque and power from 2,500 rpm to peak rpm, featuring a full 5-6 horsepower gain on top end. Compared to the stock street system, the full Graves Ti Performance System offers a weight savings of 10.8 lbs. The Graves Diamond Shaped Carbon Silencer included with the Ti System is similar to the ones used on factory Superbikes and enhances the look of the Yamaha FZ07, and mounts directly to the motorcycle by using a stealth carbon fiber strap, saving weight and streamlining looks. The Silencer comes standard with a GMS exhaust insert to quiet sound (removable). This System is design for closed course off-highway racing use only, and will perform best with the optional Graves FTECU Flash mapping upgrade available from Graves.
Price is $1,098.00.
