EnerSys Corporate Headquarters Receives ISO 9001:2015 Certification

ISO 9001:2015 certifies that EnerSys continues to maintain a quality management system based on Quality Management Principles, which form the basis of the new standard.

EnerSys, a global provider of stored energy solutions for industrial applications (including Odyssey Battery for powersports applications), was recently awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification based on criteria and standards as outlined by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for Quality Systems Management. The standards provide guidance and tools for companies and organizations to ensure that their products and services meet customer requirements and that quality is consistently improved.

ISO 9001:2015 certifies that EnerSys continues to maintain a quality management system based on Quality Management Principles (QMPs), which form the basis of the new standard. EnerSys also focuses on consistency in product manufacturing and service while striving to exceed customer expectations. In addition, it confirms strict attention to detail regarding management responsibility and resource management, as well as metrics that aim to maintain continuous improvements in all aspects of our business.

“This latest ISO certification achievement for EnerSys corporate headquarters directly aligns with our global objective of striving for excellence in our products, services and solutions,” said Brent Furr, director of quality assurance, Americas. “On a global platform, EnerSys has evolved from a traditional battery company to a state-of-the-art, solutions-based provider. We aim to provide the highest-quality products and services to our customers. The award of ISO 9001:2015 certification further exemplifies our dedication to overall quality improvement.”
