Shifting gears into 2018, the industry has seen a number of new hires in the first part of the year including the following from MTA and Parts Unlimited.
MTA announced that it hired Dan Bonham as the new Regional Sales Representative for Arizona. Bonham began racing motocross in 1983 and got his start in the industry a year later. He has worked at multiple Tucson dealerships since then and managed Accessories and Service Departments for 12 years. He also had a brief stint in the automotive industry selling Cadillacs. He owned his own shop, Supernova Cycles, for five years and has continued to race at the local level in pro and expert classes. He has 20-plus years of racing motocross in Mexico and is an Avid bicycle enthusiast with his three kids and wife.
Parts Unlimited recently welcomed Asadour “Ozz” Demirjian to its team as the new Regional Sales Manager for the Northwest Region based in Vancouver, WA. Ozz most recently worked at Pro Caliber Motosports where he was the Parts Manager. He has been riding motorcycles since he was 16, and has been road racing for the past two years. When he isn’t working or riding, Ozz says he enjoys carpentry and welding.
