Dainese to Bring D-Store to Indianapolis GP

When they’re not cheering on Dainese MotoGP riders Valentino Rossi, Nicky Hayden, Pol Espargaro, Andrea Iannone, Jack Miller and Stefan Bradl, fans in attendance at this weekend’s Indianapolis GP will have the opportunity to visit “D-Store Indy,” a temporary factory Dainese dealership situated in the vendor area at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Customers who have visited any of the D-Stores around the world will recognize many of the trademark features, and Dainese USA will be organizing a series of special activities to commemorate the occasion. In addition to Indianapolis GP event specials and an extensive selection of Dainese and AGV products for sale, D-Store Indy will have a Misano D-Air Racing suit on display, and Dainese technicians will be on hand to explain the technology behind this new-to-North America product.

D-Store Indy will also serve as a preview for Dainese’s upcoming North American Custom Works Tour. As will be the case during that 10-stop autumn trip across the U.S. and Canada, customers interested in purchasing custom Dainese suits, jackets or pants will have the opportunity to undergo a private fitting and/or design session with Dainese USA Custom Works Coordinator Allan Jones.

“We have U.S. D-Stores in Chicago, San Francisco and Orange County, with another opening soon in Orlando, but D-Store Indy will be the first to open at an actual race,” said Dainese USA Vice President of Operations Roberto Sadowsky. “MotoGP fans constitute an important part of the Dainese customer base; with the vendor facilities at Indianapolis Motor Speedway being unmatched among racing venues, replicating the factory dealership experience at the Indianapolis GP just made sense. We’re looking forward to welcoming our faithful customers and making new friends.”

In addition to the D-Store Indy activities, Dainese and AGV will be celebrating the recent 1 millionth “like” on AGV’s Facebook page.

Located in garage number C11 in the vendor area, D-Store Indy will be open on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. While at the race, keep an eye out for the oversize Dainese Instagram picture frame for photo opportunities, and follow the Dainese and AGV social media channels to stay up to date on special D-Store Indy activities.
