Bell Helmets has announced the signing of up-and-coming Grand Prix star Brad Binder. The 2016 Moto3 World Champion will make the jump to Moto2 in 2017, wearing Bell’s state-of-the-art Pro Star Helmet. In addition to utilizing products, Binder will also play a valuable role offering on-track technical and performance insights for Bell’s ongoing R&D efforts for future product offerings.
“Brad is clearly one of the circuit’s brightest young stars and fiercest competitors, and we’re thrilled to have him representing Bell on and off the track,” said Chris Sackett, Bell Helmets vice president. “The brand benefits of having Brad on the Bell roster are extremely significant, and the insights and feedback he’ll provide for ongoing R&D efforts will be invaluable.”
Binder joins a growing roster of Bell ambassadors currently wearing the Pro Star, including Cameron Beaubier, William Dunlop and Josh Herrin among others.
“Bell has been synonymous with racing, performance and safety technology for a long time, and it’s an honor to represent such an iconic brand on the track,” said Binder. “The Pro Star is the most technologically advanced helmet I’ve ever worn and a product that truly provides a competitive edge out on the track.”
The all-new Bell Pro Star is a complete rethinking of what a race helmet should be, driven by the essential needs of the modern racer. Engineered to perform at the highest level, the 2016 Bell Pro Star features the progressive protection of the Flex Impact Liner, an expanded Panovision field of view and the most advanced carbon fiber composites available by TeXtreme. Further, it includes a Transitions shield that adapts to light conditions, a VIRUS CoolJade power mesh liner to reduce skin surface temperatures plus odor, and Magnefusion Cheek Pads for easy removal for washing or emergency responders.
