This material is incorporated into the ankle areas of each of the Bates Powersports boots, allowing for comfort and flexibility while walking or riding and yet also providing impact protection to a critical area. Rider protection is supplemented with abrasion-resistant leather and nylon outer construction, and molded TPU heels. The result is a line of boots that are flexible and comfortable enough to wear for long hours on and off the bike, while also providing a degree of rigidity and impact protection.
