Vintage motorcycle riders, collectors and racers will ride or haul their classic bikes to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course this July 10-12 for AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days. Some of the best of those motorcycles will be showcased in the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Bike Show, presented by Hagerty Insurance Agency, on Saturday, July 11.

“AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days is packed with great bikes of all genres,” said AMA Chief Operations Officer Jeff Massey. “But the best of the best are always represented at the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Bike Show. Whether you’re drawn to vintage dirt bikes, classic V-twin or inline-four street machines, rare European marques or anything on two wheels, you’re going to find it here.”

The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Bike Show, presented by Hagerty Insurance Agency, will feature American, British, European and Japanese models from the early 1900s through 1989. Pre-registration is not necessary. Registration will take place at the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame tent at the event prior to the show, closing at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Registration costs $10 per bike and is a donation to the Hall of Fame.

Riders participating in Saturday’s Lap for History on their show bikes will have time to return those bikes to the display area prior to judging. Professional judging will begin at 2 p.m., with awards presented at 3:30 p.m.

For 2015, AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame museum. AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days is a fundraiser for the facility, which houses the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame and other thematic exhibits that celebrate motorcycling’s heritage.

It all adds up to one of motorcycling’s premier events. For more information: www.amavintagemotorcycledays.com.
